  • HTC launch latest smartphone

    HTC has launched the GPS-enabled P3470, which comes in at the lower end of its existing range.

    The P3470 (pictured) runs off Windows Mobile 6 and comes with built-in TomTom Navigator 6, as well as a 2-megapixel camera, touch screen and 1GB expandable memory.

    HTC is still trying to sign wider-ranging network deals. Until it does, it will be available from the end of the month on Orange for around £325 SIM-free.

  • Two smartphones unveiled by i-mate

    Smartphone maker i-mate has unveiled new devices in its Ultimate range; the 9502 and 8502. The HSDPA-enabled Windows Mobile 9502 (pictured) comes with integrated GPS and can be connected to a monitor. The 8502 touchscreen has Microsoft Office Mobile and features GPS and a media player. Both devices will be released in the UK in Q2.

  • T-Mobile announces new BlackBerry email extra

    The new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 has made its way to T-Mobile, complete with new email price options for Flext customers T-Mobile customers can now have unlimited emails from up to 10 email addresses sent directly to their handset for £5 a month, or for an extra £5, can include T-Mobile's Web’n’Walk giving the customer unlimited email and web browsing within the UK. The new tariffs are only available on purchasing the handset.

    The quad band phone has inbuilt GPS and a 2 megapixel camera. It will be available in T-Mobile stores and online from March 1.

    T-Mobile head of internet on the move Richard Warmsley said: “With our new prices for instant email combined with the great offer for Web’n’Walk, T-Mobile BlackBerry customers can connect to everything that mattersfor just £10 per month.”
